I am such a medicine pot.... sick again.



Behold my living room and it's sofa in all their naked splendour literally 'cause my sister send the covers for cleaning so the cushions are indeed naked. I bought this sofa and the TV console and the mammoth king size bed in the master bed room for RM5k. The IKEA rack behind is free together with the furniture. They are all 2nd hand from one of the super rich tenants from my sister's condo. Fellow got send to somewhere and is desperate to sell off all his furniture. I am not a connoisseur of expensive stuff as I don't go for branded stuff, thus I told my sister those sofa and the TV console don't look as expensive as it should be.

Sister said the sofa is made of goose feather and indeed those goose feather stab my butt everytime I sit on it without the cover. If anyone asked, I should say the sofa is Mivo. The TV console that look so fragile ( to the right) took 3 Arnold Schwarzeneggers and 2 ladies to carry it. One of the mover said it's as heavy as 2 fat human corpses. There are a lot of swear words accompanying this TV console on it's way to the house, poor thing. After hearing my sister, I also tried lifting the side up, and IT IS REALLY @))#(&)@#($ HEAVY. Sad to say I can't lift it on my own. I told my sister, if a hurricane were to swept through the condo now, all will be blown away except for this TV console. Why on earth the owner bought such a heavy TV console, I have no idea. The TV console is so solid, I believe it can withstood storm, flood and volcanic explosion.

Thanks to all my sisters and Corn, the house is looking more and more like a home. We just bought a dinning table made of some real solid wood. The wood is so solid, it can withstood termites and machine gun. It also cost me a bomb - RM2300. What to do... long term investment. Call me a snob but I tend to think long term when it comes to asset and would like to spend a bit more for long lasting. I am telling my sister, I will not change the furniture for the next 100 years or so.

I like my kitchen bar too. At certain angle it reminds me of Kim Gary drink bar. It is so tall, I need to go look for some really high bar chairs to fit it. Can you believe it, the bar reach my jaw and stop saying that is because I am short. :)

And now the resolution for this year

- Shave 10kg ( yes again).

And that is the only resolution.
